Now that you know how to make the body wash lets get into details of  the ingredients used.

Liquid castile soap

Castile soap is a vegetable oil based soap made from pure olive oil or coconut oil. This is used to ensure that our body wash has enough lather which is so gentle to your skin.

Sweet almond oil

The purpose of adding oil is to make our body wash moisturizing unlike most of the store bought ones which dries out our skin. The benefit of adding sweet almond oil is that it is effective in lightening stretch marks and also reduces signs of aging.

Honey helps in the treatment and prevention of acne and helps in improving complexion. It is great for slowing down aging. Honey is added in our body wash to moisturize. It also helps in retaining elasticity of  our skin. Honey also thickens the body wash and promotes lather.

Lavender oil

Lavender oil is great for treating acne and eczema. The purpose of adding lavender oil in our body wash is to give a pleasant smell to our body wash. Moreover, lavender oil is great for all skin types and is very gentle to the skin.
