Sometimes what our skin needs is just exfoliation. But we are so busy with our lives we skip exfoliating. Even worse is when some people really do not think exfoliating is necessary. There are some others who believe exfoliating will damage your skin (What? seriously? Its true!). And some are just lazy. Whatever your reason is, DO NOT SKIP EXFOLIATION.  The reason we exfoliate is to remove dead skin cells and keep those white heads and black heads at bay. Being said that, don’t exfoliate too vigorously (now that will surely and definitely damage your skin). Gently massaging with a good scrub will surely do the job.

So I am going to introduce you to one of my favorite scrubs, which is made with natural ingredients and has so many good qualities to enhance your skin’s health. A healthy skin means a beautiful you!

Green tea-cucumber DIY facial scrub

(Only the name is a little bit long, the ingredient list is short, don’t worry.) This is a great scrub which requires only three ingredients but gives tons of benefits to your skin. Sounds great? Then lets find out what to use.

Get the ingredients

Search and find out the following from your kitchen:

  1. 2 tbsp Green tea
  2. 1/2 Cucumber
  3. 2-3 tbsp Sugar

The process

In a blender, blend together the green tea and cucumber to form a paste. Add sugar to the paste. And there you have our green tea-cucumber scrub. Massage this scrub to your skin (and dust out all the dead skin cells). Then wash it off with cold water.

Remember: If you have dry skin add honey to your scrub.
