My review of the Gosh Click N Conceal cream concealer

The Gosh Click ‘N Conceal concealer comes in a black plastic pen like tube packaging. The packaging is so convenient you can just throw it in your bag and carry it wherever you go. At one end of the pen is a brush and the other end you have a small push button. When you click the button, concealer is pushed up through the bristles of the brush. One downside is that the product does not come out with one or two clicks, it sometimes takes multiple (6-7) clicks. The problem is that when I am in a hurry I  click so many times that the amount of concealer coming out is more than what is required. Sometimes what happens is that some amount of concealer comes out fast and I use it and next time when I take it again there is concealer leftover on the bristles it often gets messy. I kept the concealer as such without cleaning for the picture to let you know, how messy it can get. But once you get the hang of using it, you can definitely overcome this. Other than this drawback the packaging makes it easy to use, easy to apply and  easy to carry.

For applying the concealer, you can either use it directly or use a separate brush. The brush that comes with the concealer is good so you can skip a brush if you prefer. This also makes it so convenient to use it when travelling because you don’t necessarily have to carry a separate brush. To use is just like any other concealer just pat a small amount of the Gosh click n conceal concealer onto a blemish or your under eye circles and it does its job of covering them up.

The consistency of the click n conceal concealer is the next thing I love. It is so light, you hardly feel it’s there. The formula is very creamy but light and blends brilliantly into the skin and sinks perfectly with the foundation. It completely conceals my dark circles and blemishes. But I must tell you, the concealer is not a heavy coverage one, if you need higher coverage you can easily layer it up . The best thing about this concealer is that it gives a very natural finish. This is a moisturizing concealer, which moisturizes but at the same time does not make your skin look greasy.

After blending

The concealer stays put for a really long time. I have used it for about 10+ hours and it stayed really well. I recommend setting it with a powder and regular touch ups though. I have also used it in extreme hot and humid climate in India few months back and found it survived the sweat test. Omg! I sweated like hell during that season.

The concealer is available in 3 different shades, 01 Light, 02 Medium and 03 Dark. I have used 03 Dark, but for my under eyes I prefer 02 Medium, but 03 also works well .The other downside of this concealer is definitely the shade selection. The darkest shade is not that dark, so beauties with darker complexion will not get their perfect shade.

Now, if you have read the claims from Gosh, this product claims to reduce dark circles and puffiness which I am not sure. I cannot comment because I don’t use this everyday to see any visible results. But I use it quite often, you can tell from the pictures 😛 Though I am not sure about reducing under eye dark circles and puffiness, I am glad it contains some amazing ingredients, hence you can reap the benefits along with hiding the imperfections. Win, win!

Gosh has claimed to use Eyeliss and Haloxyl in this formula. Eyeliss is a patented peptide, which helps reduce puffiness and bags under the eyes. Haloxyl is an associattion of 2 matrikines ,i.e, messenger peptides capable of regulating cell activities by interacting with their specific receptors; that lessens under eye dark circles.

My final verdict

I really love the Click ‘N Conceal cream concealer because its light and creamy, glides on lovely and blends beautifully. It does its job of covering up imperfections pretty well and gives a natural finish without any cakey look. It is neither drying nor oily but gives the right amount of moisturizing. It stays for a really long time. The only drawback I can think of is that sometimes you need multiple clicks for the product to come out, hence too much concealer is pushed out of the bristles, but you learn to control on using.

I give it a rating of 4.7/5, and highly recommend you guys to try it out!

Have you used any products from Gosh? Have you used the click n conceal? Which concealer are you using right now? Please let me know in the comments below!

  1. Congratulations for getting published in HF post! 🙂 This Concealer looks amazing, though I never heard about this brand before. Will check it out. 🙂

    • Thank you Dipti!
Gosh is a Danish brand created in Copenhagen. I love their products are cruelty free and paraban free, and mostly vegan! All the products I have used from the brand so far are beyond awesome, especially the lipsticks!

  2. Congrats on getting published on the Huffington Post! 🙂

I usually have issues with those types of click pens and too much product coming out. I had a lip product that would just keep on leaking out. The concealer does sound like a good one though.

    • Thank you Lisa!
Apart from this drawback, this is a mindblowing concealer! But as I said you easily learn to adjust on using, so for me no issues at all.

  3. Aw congrats that’s awesome!! I love HP 🙂 lol You’re reviews are great so detailed! This concealer looks awesome too!! Xoxoxo

  4. This sounds really great, I will have to pick it up sometime! You seem really lovely too and your blog is great, let me know if you would like to follow each other and stay in touch! x

  5. I tried the Gosh concealer tester pen, as I have redness patches.
I got home with excitement to try out mine. I took off the cellophane, and the oil was leaking out of it. I tried to wipe off the excess oil, but the text came off the pen.
I clicked the top of the pen, but all that came out was oil??

    • Hey Joyce! Thank you for letting me know about it. I actually never had such a problem. The only issue I had was the concealer coming out in excess when I click too fast. But just a piece of advice, always shake your makeup products well mainly those in the liquid form. The main reason is to avoid situations like yours! Have a great day!
