When I check any blogs, beauty hacks are my favorites. I love how people come up with some really cool tricks or hacks either to make everything easier or to get amazing results. If you follow me on my social media accounts, you already know I share some beauty hacks there, mainly on my Instagram account. So today I am posting those beauty hacks here.
To be honest, this beauty hacks post wasn’t planned. My whole family is sick with flu and fever and that includes my little girl too. If you are a mom, you probably know the struggles. So this week I couldn’t really finish things for my blog post. But I felt really bad not to post anything. Therefore, I decided to compile the beauty hacks I have been posting in my social medias and do a beauty hacks post.
So these hacks are not about a specific topic like makeup, skincare or haircare. There is a little bit of everything. Hope you like it!
The primer hack
Mix your favorite primer to a cream foundation to make the foundation more translucent! By doing so you are able to retain coverage of the cream foundations without looking cakey!
The long lasting durability that cream foundations has over liquids and powders remains the same . Moreover, makeup blends seamlessly with the first layer of primer!
You have tips for plump lips too
If you don’t wish to use the lip plumpers but you wish to have plump lips, try this DIY instead. All you have to do is mix a little peppermint or cinnamon oil into your lip gloss!
Dandruff? Try this!
You might have already tried a lot of things to get rid of dandruff. If all the methods failed, don’t worry you still have a very easy yet effective method to get rid of it. Mix two parts of brown sugar with one part of your normal conditioner. Massage this into your scalp and leave it for 2-3 minutes and then rinse it off. Viola!
Ever tried kiwi cleanser?
Kiwi is such a beautiful fruit and tasty as well. But have you tried using it as a cleanser and exfoliator? Just mash up a kiwi and use the pulp to massage onto your face and neck. This acts as a great cleanser and exfoliator. Apart from this kiwi also
- Keeps skin firm
- Rejuvenates skin
- Fights acne and signs of aging
- Gives smooth and glowing skin
- Lightens skin tone.
Foot blisters? Use diaper rash cream!
New shoes definitely look great but we all know the struggle! Don’t worry, no foot blisters are going to stop you from wearing it. Dab some diaper rash cream on the blisters tonight and wake up with happy feet!
I have the driest lips, so I do this!
Just before I go for my hot shower I apply some vaseline on my lips. Once I get out of the shower I have soft and supple lips!
If your lips need some extra exfoliation then after you have done this, using a washcloth or towel very gently rub your lips and there you have it, lips as soft as a baby’s lips!
Brush off the blackheads
Take some toothpaste ( preferably white) on a toothbrush and brush your teeth. Just kidding even my toddler know how to brush her teeth. It’s not that:P
This one is for getting rid of blackheads. Take some toothpaste on a new toothbrush and gently exfoliate the affected area using the head of the toothbrush to get rid of those blackheads!

Because all women want a dewy skin, right?
The classic trick! You might already know this, but I am still sharing for those who don’t because this is my favorite!
Mix a few drops of any facial oil with your liquid foundation to give that dewy finish to your makeup.
Healthier eyebrows and eyelashes
Apply coconut or olive oil using a mascara wand nightly before bed. Wash off next morning. You can also use castor oil.
Take an empty bottle, add juice from half a lemon. Then add a half cup of water, shake well! DIY toner ready.

Easiest lip scrub
All lip scrubs I have bought are on the expensive side. But that doesn’t have to stop you from exfoliating your lips. Try this super easy lip scrub! Mix olive oil or honey with sugar and using this massage your lips gently in circular motions.
Check out the Vanilla and lavender lip scrub.
Let your lipstick last longer
Yes! the classic bloating technique! You can also try dusting some loose powder or eyeshadow on top of the lipstick to make it last longer, but remember, this might alter the lipstick shade.
So these were the tips I shared in my social media accounts. I am loving this and think of doing more beauty hacks post here, what say?
